Scoopie LLC ("Scoopie," "we," "us") provides pooper scooper and pet waste removal services in Utah. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We use cookies and similar technologies to run our site and understand how it is used.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, a web-analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, your approximate (city-level) location, and the type of device and browser you use, and assigns a pseudonymous identifier to your browser or device. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. This information helps us measure and improve our site, and Google processes it on our behalf. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and you can control or block cookies through your browser settings.

If you give us your phone number, we may contact you by call or text about scheduling, service, and your account. Where required, we will obtain your consent before sending marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. We do not share mobile opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain your account, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Chat transcripts and analytics data are retained for up to 24 months unless a longer period is required. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing or marketing. To make a request, contact us at support@scoopie.us. We will verify your request and respond as required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Utah residents. The Utah Consumer Privacy Act (Utah Code § 13-61-101 et seq.) gives Utah consumers the right to confirm whether we process their personal data and to access it, to delete personal data they provided, to obtain a portable copy of it, and to opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising or the sale of personal data. Scoopie does not sell personal data and does not use it for targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, email support@scoopie.us; we will verify and respond within 45 days as the Act allows. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may contact the Utah Division of Consumer Protection or the Utah Attorney General if you have concerns.

California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing." We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use Google Analytics only to measure and improve our own website, not to serve targeted ads. To exercise your rights, email support@scoopie.us. We will not discriminate against you for doing so.

10. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
